The Indian engineering student, who is currently studying in China, became viral after sharing a detailed video of his university hostel in Shenzhen and offered a rare view of student life across the border.
The Choudhary Salona, who follows his studies on a fully financed scholarship, posted a video on YouTube, where she caused curiosity and praise.
“Hello everyone! I’m from India and in this video I give you a tour of my university dormitory here in Shenzhen,” he says in a video that captures everything from initial protocols to everyday equipment. Its dormitory, located on the 17th floor of the co-foundation building, is accessible through cards of cards or facial recognition-function, which has impressed many viewers.
The room shared with three others is described as “super cute, cozy and ideal for student life”.
The video also offers a look at a shared bathroom, dressing area and free laundry with washing machines available for all students.
Choudhary mentions that its fully funded scholarship includes tuition, accommodation and most of life expenditures – the main relief for foreign students. “Such a blessing,” writes in the headline and encourages students who are interested in studying in China to explore scholarships.
The video attracted strong reactions online, especially from Indian viewers. Several users said the track gave the vibration “C-Drama”.
The user commented: “So much difference in Indian tracks and Chinese tracks … I mean looking at cleanliness, privacy, open environment, free things like a printing machine, washing machine, toilet device.
Another user wrote: “Your tracks looks directly from CDRAMA, nice and quite realistic, has a good and safe time in China.”
“Wooo, your track is so cool! It really looks like I visit a girl’s dorm from one of my favorite Chinese dramas …. Love O2o vibrations everywhere! So dreamy and aesthetic,” wrote the third user.
