
The Indian World Athletics Relay Campaign ended in disappointment, because the 4×400 MA of the 4×400 m mixed teams missed the qualification for the World Championship, which took place in Tokyo at the end of this year.
Mixed 4x400m Santhosh Kumar Tamilarasan, Rupal Chaudhary, Thennar Kayalvizi Vishal and Subha Venkatesan clocked 3 minutes 14.81 seconds to be in the heat number 2.
The three best teams in each of the two heads have qualified for worlds-plated at 13-21. September in the Japanese capital.
On Saturday, the Indians threw 3: 16.85 seconds to finish fifth in the thermal number 3. On Sunday they were given another chance to book the World Championship, but did not do so.

Top 14 teams in each of the men and women 4×100 mA 4×400 m plus mixed 4×400 m, ensure its place at the World Championship in Tokyo.
The remaining two places in each event will be awarded based on the best lists during the qualification period (February 25, 2024 to 24 August 2025).
India will now hope that it will be between the two remaining teams and will try to events during the qualifying window.
The country competed in the male 4×400 m at the World Championship in Hungary 2023, where the Indian Quartet scared the frightened United States before it finished second in the heat race with the then Asian record 2: 59,05.
The Indian Quartet Muhammeda Anase, Amoj Jacob, Rajesh Ramesh and Muhammed Ajmal finished fifth in the finals. However, after completing the fourth in the heat race, the same team failed to qualify for the last round at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
India built a fresh team in the 4×400 MA relay left athletes who competed at the World Championships 2023 and at the Olympic Games 2024.
