Indian celebrations after victory in Asia Cup were a spiritual child Pacer Arshdeep Singh, revealed on Tuesday 7 October Spinner Varun Chakravarthy. On Tuesday, talking to the Ceat Awards shared details of how the events developed at night India, defeating Pakistan at Tensense Summit.
The Indian team was not presented with the Asia Cup trophy after players refused to accept it from the Chief of the Pakistanian cricket council (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi. India asked the trophy to hand over another official, but the application be rejected. As a result, the team did not receive the medals of the winners or the trophy.
In the bizarre turnover of events at the International Stadium in Dubai, the Indian team remained in the field, although the ceremony collapsed. After the officials left the ground, the players decided to celebrate the stage anyway. Captain Suryakumar Yadav imitated the trophy elevator and even re -created the World Cup T20 Rohit Sharma and went to health from his teammates.
Varun Chakravarthy, talking at the award ceremony, revealed that the idea of celebrating improvisation came from Arshdeep Singho.
“In fact, it was the idea of Arshdeep. We were waiting for a trophy, but we all know how it turned out,” Varun said.
“I stood there, hoping the cup would appear – we all waited. But the only cup beside me was a cup of coffee,” he added with a laugh.
Sanju Samson, who received the Men’s T20i Batter of the Year at the event, reflected Varun’s sentiment. He admitted that it was strange to celebrate without a trophy in his hand, but said that the team’s spirit helped ease the mood.
“It was a bit strange, celebrating without a trophy. But we have a very positive environment in our dressing room. Although we have nothing, we celebrate as if we have everything. That’s exactly what we have done,” Samson said.
In a lightweight blow to the Asian cricket officials, Indian players took on social media and published pictures celebrating their victory-with an Emodji trophy instead of real silver. Although the team was rightly denied, the team remained in high spirits and described the moment smiles, jokes and laughter.
