The Indian Army said on Sunday (July 20, 2025) that it would bear spending on the study of a ten -year -old boy who supplied a small food fighting in the village of Panjab during the Sindoor operation.
Shvan Singh ran errands for soldiers published in the village of Tara Wali.
The boy took the soldiers water, ice, tea, milk and lassi when they exchanged fire with the Pakistani army.
As a recognition of his courage and enthusiasm, the Golden Arrow Indian Army has committed to fully sponsor Shvan’s education.
During the ceremony on Saturday at Ferozpur Cantonment also the boy Manoj Kumar Katiyar, General officer commanding, Western Command, also boys.
The army said that Svan’s story serves as a reminder of “silent heroes” across the country who deserves recognition and support.
The Shvan, whose village lies in the Mamdot area in the Ferozepur district, previously said he wanted to join the army when he grew up.
“I want to become“ fading ”when I grow up. I want to serve the ground, ”the boy said in May.
His father then said, “We are proud of him. Even the soldiers loved him.” He said that class 4 student added the ration himself without anyone asked.
The village of Tara Wali is about 2 km from the international border.
As part of the Sindoor operation, the Indian armed forces carried out May 7 before the dawn of missile strikes on nine terrorist goals in Pakistan and Kashmir in Pakistan.
The goals were the fixed strength of the Jaish-E-Mohammad of Bahawalpur and the base of Lashkar-E-TABA in Muridke.
The operation started in response to a terrorist attack of April 22, Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives.
After the Indian event Pakistan launched an offensive against the Indian military foundations and resorted to the shelling of border areas for the next three days.
