After the release of Litchfield Beth Mooney (77 out of 74)* and Annabel Sutherland (54 out of 51)* at Australia height comfortably led in Australia in a 45th place with 35 balls to save.
The Indian pitch, a levy spell from the wound (1/51), lacked penetration and control, and everyone else reappeared at more than 5.5 runs. The loss emphasizes concerns about India before the World Cup of Women in 2025, especially when closing strong starts and maintaining pressure.
