The Minister of the Union for Agriculture Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday (June 16, 2025) killed the chief of RJD Lalu Prasad for “disrespect” Babasaheb ambedcar.
On Sunday, the State Commission for Planned Kasty in Bihar announced Mr. Prasad a notice for the alleged insults of ambulance after the portrait of the Dalits icon was placed near his feet at the event.
“Neither Bihar nor the nation forgives Lal Praad and RJD for disrespect Babasaheb,” said Mr. Chouhan.
“It is so painful for me as to Lalu Ji? Talking about backward communities and Dalitch is just a show for him. The man who was awarded Bharat Ratna, gave the institute, and the provisions on reservations are insulted Lalo,” said the minister.
Mr. Chouhan said that the way in which “Lalu Prasad traveled Babasaheb’s photography”, it turned out to be the “real intention” of the RJD leader.
Other leaders of Bharatiya Janata (BJP) also hit Mr. Prasad.
In Bikaner, the State Minister of Trade unions, Laws, Arjun Ram Meghwal, he demanded an immediate public apology to the RJD leader. “The worker brought a picture of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkara and tried to present it to Lal Praad, but his arrogance was evident in his attitude. This matter became so serious, yet he apologized,” Mr. Meghwal said. “India people will not tolerate this insult. On the one hand, they claim to be the leader of the Dalits and backward classes and advocates social justice, but on the other it offends Babasaheb.”
In Delhi, the Minister of the Union of the Union Bhupend Yadav told the media: “Bihar residents have not forgotten the Lalo regime. During their reign, the maximum injustice and Dalits were performed during their reign. He should apologize,” he said.
In Bihar, the main ministers of Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha intervened at RJD and the party burned Mr. Prasad on Sunday.
Asked that BJP demanded an apology, Tejashwi Yadav, son and opposition leader Mr. Prasad in Bihar, said on Monday: “Amit Shah apologized for what he said about the Ambian in parliament? ”
