As a “sequel” of business interviews between India and the US, India will host the US main negotiator Brendan Lynch at a one -day meeting with the main negotiator of India Rajesh Agrawal, said Mr. Agrawal on Monday (September 15, 2025).
This is followed by the beginning of this month, when US President Donald Trump spoke of the “special relationship” that the US shares with India, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi “fully returns” sentiment.

These friendly foreplay came at a time when the US deposited the total tariff of 50% on imports from India, which negotiated a bilateral trade agreement between the two countries. The last round of negotiations was to take place during the last August, but was indefinitely postponed after the reward of two -part tariffs in India.
“The US main negotiator visits India tonight (September 15) and we will act all day tomorrow,” said Mr. Agrawal, who is conducting negotiations with the US name India, on a press briefing.

“This is not an official” round “of negotiations, but it will certainly be a discussion of business interviews Ao attempt to see how we can achieve an agreement between India and the US”
Mr. Agrawal said India and the US have been involved in discussions at different levels – from a team of negotiators to the ministerial level – and so Tuesday (September 16, 2025) should be considered as a “continuation” of interviews.

“We also noted that he mentioned as part of his hearing of the Senate that the Indian Minister of Trade was invited,” said Mr. Agrawal. “We’ll discuss it tomorrow.”
