India Under 19 67/2 in 16.0 overs | India U19 vs. Sri Lanka U19 Live Score 2nd Unofficial Test Day 3: India take massive 263-run lead after playing Sri Lanka

India U19 vs Sri Lanka U19 Live Score, 2nd Unofficial Test: Manal Chauhan produced a career-defining knock and the Indian bowlers backed it up with a disciplined effort as the hosts took complete control of the Youth Test against Sri Lanka U19 on Day 2.

Starting on 253/3, India stretched their first innings total to 411 with Chauhan turning his overnight 55 into a stunning 150 off 244 deliveries. His innings of 20 fours and a six came after a crucial 155-run partnership with fellow centurion Kushagra Ojha, who scored 111.

The duo’s stand followed another century partnership from day one when Ojha and captain Yashobardhan Chauhan stitched together a 122-run stand for the third wicket.

Once Ojha departed, India lost wickets at regular intervals, giving up six wickets for 134 runs. But Manal remained composed, cultivating the strike and adding useful lower-order runs before eventually becoming the ninth wicket to fall. His effort gave India the lead in the first innings.

The bowlers then carried the momentum into Sri Lanka’s innings. Pranav Raghavendra and C. Venkata picked up two wickets each while Rohit Yadav bowled a damaging spell to finish with figures of 2/4. Sri Lanka struggled to build a partnership throughout the innings, with only Dulnith Sigera offering resistance through a brisk 31 before Rohit was bowled.

At stumps, Sri Lanka slumped to 122/8, leaving India firmly in the driver’s seat and the visitors still well behind their first innings total. The hosts will now look to bag the remaining wickets quickly and strengthen their position on Day 3.
