India and the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday (April 8, 2025) agreed that the “close cooperation between the defense industry” should be an “integral part of” bilateral cooperation, the government reported after the Minister of Defense Rajnath Singh met with a visit to the Vice -Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Hamdan Mohammed Bin Rashid Rashid Rashid Rashid Rashid Rashid Rashid Rashid Al Mactom.
The visiting Crown Prince of Sae also met Prime Minister Narendra Modim and the Minister of the External Affairs S. Jaishankar.
“Both leaders expressed their satisfaction with the active coastline guards of the coast guard and committed that they were further deepening it by formalization through understanding. They were convinced that close cooperation between the defense industry should be an integral part of bilateral cooperation.”
Mr. Singh said that a comprehensive strategic partnership with SAE had a “immense priority” for India and added: “In the coming years we are longing to work closely in areas such as defensive cooperation, co -production and co -construction projects, innovation and technology. India and Sae committed to work and prosperity.”
The Crown Prince, who is also the patron saint of art in the United Arab Emirates, said: “Our interviews reaffirmed the strength of the sea-India binding, which are based on trust, shaped history and driven by a shared vision to create a future full opportunity, innovation and lasting prosperity.”
Mr. Modi acknowledged the role that Dubai played in a comprehensive strategic partnership in India-Uae. “This special visit reaffirms our deep -rooted friendship and prepares a way for even stronger cooperation in the future,” he said.
