After the defensive forces realized the need for more accurate supervision during the Sindoor operation, the Union’s government ordered a quick tracking of 52 dedicated satellites for supervision and strengthened continuous monitoring of coastal and ground borders.
In October last year, the Cabinet Committee for Prime Minister Narendra Modi-LED approved the $ 3.2 billion cabinet on the SBS-III program to develop the satellites of the new generation in the next decade. Within the program, ISRA will produce and launch the first 21 satellites, while private companies will process the remaining 31.
“We have asked private companies and ISRA to premature satellites. These new satellites will add the ability to display a new generation radar that will help in the supervision of all weather and day and daytime. We expect the first satellites to be launched by 2026.”
The official added that new satellites will use artificial intelligence (AI) to take smarter decisions and improve the overall performance and efficiency of the universe.
During the Sindoor operation, the supervision of the Satellite of Indian Defense Forces has helped to act quickly by offering accurate intelligence, including trajectories and movement of drones and missiles.
After successful implementation of SBS-III, India becomes more self-sufficient and reduces its dependence on other countries. It will help more clearly and more precisely to focus on Pakistan and the Chinese border and region of the Indian Ocean.
During the Sindoor operation, it was argued that China had provided satellite support of Pakistan.
Indian satellites, like Cartosat and Risat, have helped the defensive forces monitor mobilization of enemies, confirm the strike strike and maintain situational awareness in real time that prevented any major damage to the country’s military assets.
