India Stuck In Traffic: Why Toss Was Delayed For IND Vs. ENG 5th T20I?
Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir (PTI Photo) The toss for the fifth and final T20I between India and England at the Rose Bowl in Southampton was delayed after the Indian team ran into traffic on its way to the stadium.Originally scheduled to take place before the start of 19:00 IST, the pre-match meeting had to be postponed as India’s arrival at the venue was delayed. Live images later showed the team arriving at the stadium, allowing preparations to continue. As a result, the draw was rescheduled for 19:15 IST, with the start of play pushed back to 19:30 IST, assuming no further delays. The delay comes ahead of a crucial match for Shreyas Iyer, who is looking to avoid a series sweep after England sealed an elusive 3-0 lead in the five-match series with the opening match goalless.England, meanwhile, will be looking to complete a dominant 4-0 series win and potentially move to the top of the ICC Men’s T20I rankings with another win.Despite the brief disruption to traffic, officials expect the entire match to take place just 30 minutes behind schedule.
Who do you think is England’s best player in the series so far?
