India looks full of ambitions, fearless, self -confident and full of pride in space, said astronaut Shaubhansh Shukl on Sunday. “Even today, Bharat looks like” Saare Jahan SE Accha “,” Shukla said in 1984 to repeat the iconic words of the first Indian astronaut Rrakesh Sharma.
Shukla called his way “incredible” and almost “magical” and said he took a lot of memories with him and learns to share his compatriots.
Shukla spoke at the Ceremony Farewell to Astronauts Axiom-4 at the International Space Station (ISS), who are ready to start a return journey to Earth on Monday. His stay in the ISS began June 26.
The Axiom-4 mission will disintegrate from the ISS on Monday and are expected to spray from California on Tuesday.
Time for Shukl, Axiom-4 Astronauts
After 18 days of intensive scientific experiments on the ISS, it is time to say goodbye and holidays for Shubhanshu Shukl and three other astronauts of Axiom-4 missions, who are ready to start a return trip on Monday, reported the PTI press agency.
Axiom 4 (Ax-4) crew-Peggy Whitson, Shubhanshu pilot “Shux” Shukla and Mission Specialists Slawosz “Suave” Velnatanski-Wisniewski and Tibor Kapu-with are coming to complete their research and preparation for 7:05 ET (4:35 PM).
“Arrival back to Earth …. Splash down scheduled for July 15 at 15:00,” said Jitendra Singh, Minister of Science and Technology in the X post.
Formal farewell for Axiom-4 crew is scheduled for Sunday evening in India.
Offer from six countries
As the Axiom-4 missions approached, the astronauts aboard the ISS gathered at a feast with a diverse menu from six nations they represent.
Currently there are 11 astronauts, seven expedition 73 and four commercial Axiom-4 missions.
“One of the most unforgettable evenings I experienced on this mission was sharing food with new friends, AX-4, on board international @space_station,” said American astronaut Jonny Kim last week in X.
“We exchanged stories and wondered how people from different environments and nations were to represent humanity in space,” he said.
For appetizers, astronauts made rehydrated cocktails and shrimp cookies, and the main course represented salty chicken and beef fajitas. Cosmonauts reduced the night with a delicious cake made of sweet bread, condensed milk and walnuts, Kim said.
Shukla got Aam Ras and Carrot Halwa to the feast, while the Polish astronaut Slawosz brought his native food, pierogi with cabbage and mushrooms, to ISS.
