Congress said on Friday (June 6, 2025) that India is a diplomatically “isolated” and the greatest failure of foreign policy is that the government could not organize meetings of delegations of all parties sent abroad “with the heads of state or influential people”.
The party said that even the Indian partners did not speak all the weather in favor of the country and wondered what the nation had gained from such an exercise.
Congress spokesman Supriya Shrinas claimed that India was “offended” around the world because of the “unsuccessful foreign policy” of the Government Modi. Mrs. Shrinate pointed out how US President Donald Trump has repeatedly admitted for “ceasefire” between India and Pakistan and how “our friends in any weather distance from us”.
“In the complete collapse of Indian foreign policy, President Trump is no longer a recognition for a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, but now even our Ally Ally Ally Russia believes that Trump has mediated a ceasefire,” said Mrs. Shrinate.
“Failed Foreign Policy”
Referring to diplomatic delegations with multiple parties that have visited different countries to mediate the Indian stand after the Sindoor operation and the terrorist attack Pahalgam, she said that these delegations cannot say much on foreign land, but as the main opposition party, Congress will raise questions.
“The question we raise is the following: These delegations went overseas and it turned out that this is a complete failure of our foreign policy because we could not get one meeting with the consequences. How many countries have spoken in our favor after these delegation trips,” Mrs. Shrinate asked.

Mrs. Shritana pointed out that Pakistan won not only a role in multilateral agencies such as the UN, but financial assistance to institutions such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the World Bank (WB).
‘Mute viewers’
“These are institutions where India once brought a significant influence, but now the audience is mute,” she said. “IT (Pakistan) is gaining the opportunity to be represented in global institutions; global institutions provide him with financial assistance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not even looked at Kashmir in the last 45 days, but today reached Kashmir to reduce the ribbon (open Chenab Bridge and launched other projects).”
Drawing parallels between the government of UPA government led by Congress with attacks 26/11, as the government modi handled the terrorist attack of Pahalgam, Mrs. Shrinate said that every terrorist was killed and brought to reserve in Mumbai attacks 26/11. “What happened to the dreaded terrorists who killed so many people in Pahalgam? Why are they still at freedom?” She asked.
Separately the leader of the congress ABHISHEK SINGHVI took into social media to kill the appointment of Pakistan for the vice -chairman of the UN panel for terrorism. “Amazing and incredible.
Amazing and incredible. #Then Chairman and Chairman #Un#Securitycounkil Panels on Anti Terror! Worse than the production of dracula heads of the blood bank !! And unfortunately, some failures of our foreign policy in both numbers: that enuff nations do not speak to us and also that we are not able to …
