India has developed conscious efforts to manage Jasprit Bumhrah’s workload, strategically laid it to maintain its condition and extend its career. After Bowling over 150 overs in Australia at the beginning of this year, Bumrah was resting for second and fourth tests in Edgbaston and oval – practical matches that highlighted how the team manipulates its first -class fast pitching, especially given its back history.
Mohammed Siraj, on the other hand, had a strong working load with a steadfast obligation. He constantly led the attack across formats and conditions, often without relief. In the Edgbaston-Kde Bumrah test, he missed a fire charm, raised 6 for 70 and at the head of the Indian dominant victory of 336 run over England.
While Siraj’s efforts were invaluable, they raise an urgent question: Is he overloaded? Like Bumrah, Siraj’s body and rhythm also need protection. Without timely rotation of India, it risk the burning of one of its most reliable stimulators. In its efforts to keep the bumrah, the leadership must ensure that the Siraj is not left to carry the burden itself.
Crossing, effort and endurance
This year, Siraj was a tireless Indian tireless work horses in a cricket of the red ball, with a full obligation, carried a large part of the rapid load. In just six matches, 167 exceeded – more than any other Indian pitch – and traced how much he had inserted.
While the stars like Bumrah turned and rested to handle their workload, Siraj still ran in hard, bowling long spells and gave him everything. His passion and willingness to take responsibility made him the backbone of the Indian pace of the attack. However, if this effort is not wisely administered, this could lead to burnout.

No rest, no stir
In the ongoing Anderson-Tendelkar Trophy 2025, Mohammed Siraj bowed more overs than any other Indian-Biker 139-A, how much work load he accepted. He raised 14 goals as well as Bumrah, albeit at a higher diameter of 39.71.
Siraj’s efforts and energy, however, excelled, especially as he was still going through long spells. His work allowed the team to turn other pitchors and better manage the workload. While others had more engaging numbers, they have quietly made hard yards to keep the Indian pace of attacking ticking through the series.

Constant Siraj is still moving
The role of Siri in Indian Setting Red Balls goes far beyond the current series-it has a tireless work horse in the last two years and during the previous World Championship cycle (WTC). No Indian fast pitch in this period brought more exceeding than Siraj: 527.1 in 22 tests, resulting in 62 goals on average 31.79.
While Bumrah was carefully mastered, Siraj consistently lit the pace of the burden, often entered the injury or rotary phase during failures. His tireless efforts were necessary to maintain an Indian attack across conditions, especially when experience or support around him was limited.

Bumrah is important as well as Siraj
When the fifth test unfolds, Siraj is again at the forefront of the Indian pace of attack and carries a baton in Bumhrah’s absence. With the team who decided to relax Bumhrah, Siraj intensified without hesitation – just like he has in the whole series and across formats.
His ability to mix a long, highly effort of magic was crucial in holding the attack together. But even if it is selfless, it is not possible to ignore the growing requirements for his body. If India remembers the extension of Bumhra’s career, it must prove the same care of Siraj – before the wear begins to show.
