
India directly rejected NATO General Mark Rutte’s claim that the US -stored tariffs led to India to ask Russia to explain her war strategy of Ukraine and claimed that “such an interview did not occur.”
Official spokesman Mea Randhir Jaiswal referred to NATO’s claims and described his statement as “in fact incorrect and completely unsubstantiated”.
“In no time, Prime Minister Modi and President Putin said he proposed in this way. There was no such conversation,” Jaiswal said.
What did NATO’s boss claim?
On Thursday, when he spoke to CNN on the edge of the UN General Assembly in New York, Mark Rutte claimed that US President Donald Trump’s tariffs had a great impact on Russia.
