Bharatiya Janata (BJP) on Friday (May 23, 2025) claims that India will constantly stand up as a global leader through progress in three critical areas – economic strength, military and defensive skills and permanent international engagement.
“Global leadership is achieved through three critical pillars: a robust economy, strong defense and military abilities and intensive global engagement. India has made significant progress in all three areas: placement as a growing global leader,” said BJP spokesman Gopal Krishna Agarwal at New Delhi.
Agarwal emphasized the country’s economic trajectory led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said over the past 11 years that India has witnessed “unprecedented economic progress” over the past 11 years. He pointed out that the current inflation of India is one of the lowest worldwide to 3.2%and remains well at the target range of India Reserve Bank of India. “Fiscal deficit is also under control. Unlike reports from the United States indicating the increase in their fiscal deficit, the Indian fiscal balance remains in accordance with its set goals,” he added.
BJP leader said India’s foreign exchange reserves are close to $ 700 billion and described the country as the highest goal for direct foreign investment (FDI). “India today attracts the highest investment around the world,” he said.
Mr. Agarwal, who spoke of defense, quoted recent military operations and indigenous defense production as a brand of strategic abilities. “The recent Actions of the Indian Armed Forces, including the” Sindoor “and Indian Society, stations during confrontations with Pakistan, set out the strong defensive abilities of the country on the global scene,” he said.
