The left side criticized the Government of the Union led by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-Mored for allowing us to mediate in recent Indian-Pakistan tension, which broke out as a result of the terrorist attack of Pahalgam.
“It is an overwhelmed policy of our country that we settle our disputes bilaterally without allowing any intervention of third parties. This situation therefore requires clear and authoritative clarification of the highest level of our government,” said the Secretary General of the Communist Party (Marxist) Secretary General Ma Baby.
He also repeated the demand of CPI (m) after a special parliamentary meeting and stated that several urgent fears remain unadjected.
The Secretary General of CPI D. Raja also criticized the government and said that the Indian government agreed to the United States initiative to the level of intermediary, which effectively violated the essence of the Simla agreement and provided the scope for internationalizing the problem of Kashmir. “This opens the US door to play its typical hegemonic and destabilizing role in South Asia, and to take root on the internal affairs of the subcontinent,” he said.
