India pacer ruled out ODI by New Zealand, Auqib Nabi in recall dispute

India fast bowler Prasidh Krishna will not be part of the upcoming five-match ODI series against New Zealand starting November 4 as he is yet to fully recover from a hamstring injury, a BCCI source told PTI on Wednesday.

Jammu and Kashmir pacer Auqib Nabi impressed in the first unofficial red ball match between India A and New Zealand A in Lincoln.

“Prasidh is recovering well and has a match simulation and fitness test lined up at the Center of Excellence in Bengaluru on November 1 and 2.

“In any case, both the team management and the national selection committee believe that Prasidh should be fully fit for Tests where more is required than ODIs,” a BCCI source said.

Prasidh strained his hamstring during the home ODI series against West Indies.
