
India’s hosts were clubed alongside Pakistan in Pool B for the upcoming Hockey Championship in FIH hockey, which will take place in Chennai and Madurai from 28 November to 10 December this year. In addition to Asian giants, Chile and Switzerland are also present in the pool B.
The draw of the draw took place at the FIH headquarters on Saturday, June 28, because the upcoming edition will be for the first time 24 teams. The pool A consists of Germany, South Africa, Canada and Ireland, while Pool C contains Argentina, New Zealand, Japan and China. Spain, Belgium, Egypt and Namibia are in the pool D, while the Pool E will have the Netherlands against Malaysia, England and Austria.

The President of the International Hockey Federation Tayyab Ikram took part in the drawing ceremony with the General Secretary of Hockey India Bhola Nath Singh and the CEO of Hockey India RK Srivastava. Ikram said that part of the FIH strategy is to seize and involve young people from all nations.
“It is a great pleasure for me to be here in front of a milestone when we start the way to the first 24th Junior Hockey Championship!
“It is part of the FIH strategy that strengthens and involves youth from all nations, including developing nations, and this event will be the first step to do,” Fih chief said in his statement.
After the drawing of the draw, we are glad today to unveil six pools for the upcoming expanded hockey hockey male junior championship Tamil Nadu 2025, which will first present 24 teams!
