On Saturday, the center banned all ships carried by Pakistan to enter any Indian port in the middle of the escalating tension between the two countries after the terrorist attack of Pahalgam 22 April.
In the order of the Ministry of Port, Transport and Waterways, it also stated that the Indian ship would not visit any Pakistani port.
This comes hours after India has banned all imports from Pakistan.
“A ship carrying the flag of Pakistan must not visit any Indian harbor,” the order said.
“The Indian flagship will not visit any Pakistan ports.”
