
India’s versatile Washington Sundar remains convinced that his party will complete a major persecution of 193 runs on the delicate fifth day of Lord against England and this historical victory test. Sundar’s four goals played a key role in Bowling England in 192 on the fourth day, preparing for a tense last day.
India, however, found herself in early troubles and slipped to 58 for four with key pairs Yashasvi Jaiswal, SHUBman Gill, Karun Nair and Nightwatchman Akash deep in the pavilion. The Indian opener Kl Rahul remained unbeaten and needs another 135 run to take the 2-1 in series.
“We want as many things we expect, but yes, we take it every day. Tomorrow we really go out. We have some solid batsmens in the changing rooms. It’s exciting in all respects, you know, Lord’s victory will be amazing.
“Definitely one of the best days with the ball for me, especially outside India. But yes, I definitely had some solid plans for this test match and I really wanted to make them in the first and second shift,” he explained.

“Various roles are thrown on me in different passages of the game.
Asked about the potential victory, Sundar was clear about his meaning.
“Winning as a Lord’s team would be very, very strange for us. It would be amazing. I’m sure it will be a lot. Tomorrow it will be exciting. I think, especially the last 15-20 minutes was quite interesting today,” he said with reference to increased intensity at the end of the game.
Sundar also commented on a competitive spirit that shows both sides, especially after a tense incident on the third day.
“I would say that aggression is always inside us in both dressing room. It’s just that there was an incident that occurred and came out last evening (day 3). And today it worked out.
With demanding persecution, India relies on their peace and “solid” talent Sundar, who praised scripting an unforgettable victory in the cricket house.
