Indian representation within the Issa was strengthened by voting rights, the release said. Mr. Mandaviya informed the Assembly on Indian digital approach to the provision of social protection, especially the E-SRAM and National Career Service (NCS) platform. “President Issa congratulated India to her success in social protection and appreciated the remarkable expansion of social security coverage in a short period of time under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” the ministry said.
Mr. Mandaviya also expressed the willingness of India to support Uganda in the development of digital platforms to effectively match the talent with the opportunity.
The Ministry said India was selected as a recipient of the price 2025 for expanding social security coverage from 19% in 2015 to 64.3% in 2025 and more than 940 million citizens. The Indian share in the Issa General Assembly reached 30, the highest share of voting for each country.
“This award is proof of the vision of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and our main principle Antyodaya, who seizes the last person in a row that shaped our way to inclusive and universal social protection,” Mandaviya said.
