Although India has become the fourth largest economy in the world, the country lags significantly in key indicators of human development, said Jan Chaitanya Vedik (JCV).
On Tuesday, former MLC KS Lakshmana Rao, State President JCV Vallamreddy Lakshman Reddy, and economist Prof. Dar Subramanyam, dealing with GDP growth celebration, while poverty, illiteracy and unemployment remain purchased, and unemployment remains shopping.

He emphasized the growing economic inequality, with the highest 1% controlled 22% of the national income, while the lower 50% share only 13%. He noted that the Indian state debt increased from 2,865 Crore in 1950 to 185 ₹ Lakh Crore to March 2025.
The speakers urged governments to prefer social justice, education and employment over empty economic optics.
