
The new Delhi, October 15 (PTI) India, will first organize a meeting of air accident investigators in Asia Pacific from 28 to 31 October in the capital.
The Office for Investigations of Air accidents (AAIB), on behalf of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, will organize a four-day group for investigating accidents in Asia Pacific (APAC-AIG) from 28 to 31 October.
“It will be the first time India will organize APAC-AIG meeting. IZ ICAO will be involved in investigations of air accidents in the Asian-Tichorate countries,” said AAIB GVG GVG Yugandhar PTI.
Various aspects of investigations of accidents in aerial accident, including processes and reports, will be discussed at the meeting.
About 90 delegates will take part in the meeting, of which 60 of them from different countries in the Asian -Tichoral region.
28 and 29. October there will be workshops related to air accident investigations. These workshops will have AAIB, DGCA (Directorates for Civil Aviation), along with international participants.
Representatives of the Member States of ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) in the Asian -Pacific region and AAIB officials will have discussions 30 and 31 October.
The meeting will be inaugurated by the Minister of Civil Aviation to Rammohan Naida 28 October.
AAIB is responsible for the classification of safety events involving aircraft operating in Indian airspace in accidents, serious incidents and incidents.
It carries out detailed investigations and also proposes measures to improve security.
Currently, AAIB is processing approximately 25 air accident investigations, including the fatal accident of Air India, which killed 260 people 12 June.
