The holy month of Ramadan began on February 19, and today, March 19, is the 29th day of Ramzan. Hoping it would be Chand raat, Indian Muslims across the country were gearing up to catch a glimpse of the crescent moon. But will it be spotted today, marking the end of Ramadan in India?
The sun will set in Delhi and Lucknow at around 6.32pm and 6.17pm, after which observers will gather to catch a glimpse of the moon. Moon sightings will begin after sunset across cities. In Delhi, the sun sets around 6:32 PM; in Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh, sunset will probably be at 6:17 PM.
