
India was one of the seven countries that submitted its offer to host the AFC AFC 2031 Asian Cup because the country is waiting for its first big football tournament from the U-17 FIFA World Cup in 2017.
While India is already competing in its AFC Asian Cup qualifiers for the release of 2027, the Earth – along with the football body, the All India (AIFF) football federation – has already brought her eyes to the prestigious competition in the country.

- Australia
- The whole Indian football federation
- Indonesian football association
- Korea Football Association
- Kuwaitian Football Association
- Football Association of United Arab Emirates

AFC President Shaikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa applauded the Asian Cup 2031 and received a record seven candidates and also paid tribute to the nation through a statement.
“The unprecedented level of interest we have witnessed is reflected in both the high ambitions of the AFC member associations and their growing confidence in their own capacity and the ability to host the tournament as significant as the AFC Asian Cup,” said Ebrahim Al Khalifa.
“In the end, this belief is a tribute to the AFC investment in its membership associations and further strengthens the collective power and progress of Asian football,” he added.
The AFC Member States had to submit their offers by March 31 and India was one of the most important names in the land.
