
The Indian Criket Council (DCCI) has appointed an individual group for mixed Indian men’s disability for the T20 international series between the T20, scheduled for June and July 2025 on the Premier Bags throughout the UK.
This historical tour refers to the international debut of the Indian cricket team – connecting athletes with physical, hearing and mental disabilities. It is a powerful evidence of the Indian commitment to inclusive sport and is held in cooperation with the cricket council of England and Wales (ECB).
In the preparation of the team in Jaipur will be held a national training camp from 7 to 14 June with a strong focus on physical fitness, strategic planning and building a team synergy before the tour.
The series represents more than competition – it is like a celebration of authorization, representation and national pride. DCCi remains determined to develop equality, dignity and opportunity through sport.
In the progressive step towards integrating the mainstream, accessories will be selected as a double header next to the main matches in the English cricket calendar.
In particular, the 6th T20i on Tuesday 1 July in Bristol will be held together with the international match of England Women vs India Women, with a lively coverage on Sky Sports – underlines the strong message of the visibility, parity and respect for athletes with disabilities.
The leadership of the Indian group is Mr. Ravindra Gopinath Sante, a seasoned cricket known for his discipline and inspirational leadership.
Mr. Ravikant Chauhan, Secretary General DCCi, said: “This series is about redefining possibilities. Playing in Lord – the cricket home – is a dream for every cricket. For our players, this is a symbol of history and pride.

Mr. Rohit Jhalani, head coach (former captain Rajasthan Ranji), said: “This team competes with the intensity of any elite group. Their focus and passion are unrivaled – they are ready for the International Arena.”
Mr. Santosh Kumar Rai, a coach (a deaf team), said: “The integration of deaf athletes with other disability categories is a milestone. Unity and discipline of this team will leave a global stamp.”
