On Tuesday, England Ben Stokes postponed a lecture surrounding the availability of Jasprit Bumhrah for only three tests out of five as a “Indian problem” and said that he expects “passionate” visitors to fight hard in the second test regardless of their team composition.
Bumrah was by far the best Indian pitch in Leeds, where the SHUBMAN GILL-CANNED Party lost from the position of power. Similarly, Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj and Shardul Thakur were contrary to their length and could not really test English Batsmens.
India still has to decide in which three Bumrah tests he will play during the English summer. After performing in the first test, he will prepare in two of the remaining four games.
However, Stokes and his team are unaffected by the availability of Bumhrah and remain focused on extending their leadership.
“This is an India’s problem. They will deal with it. I’m an England’s captain,” Stokes said as he asked Bumrah.
This means that Stokes gave up the opposition.
“A good team. They always fight hard, come hard. A very passionate team,” he said as he asked the end of the Indian party.
“It is quite clear that there is always pressure on the shoulders of international athletes, but playing for India, especially in cricket, is probably a little more than any other nation. So, yeah, a very proud nation. We don’t take anything for granted.
England chased 371 on the first day in Leeds to complete its second highest successful chase in the history of the test cricket. The highest persecution, 378, was also against India here in Edgbaston three years ago.
Pleased with his bowling rhythm
34 -year -old Stokes was the best English stimulator in Leeds despite the limited cricket in the last six months due to injury. It seems that in its probe magic during the opening of the series, it is reflected.
Asked how his aging body is holding, Stokes answered, “I feel better now than Thursday and Friday (laughs). Everyone was very tired in that week. It was a big week, we were on the pitch and bowed for another five days, so yeah, a big week for everyone.
“I was a shadow of myself, but it shows how much he will pull out of you a five -day test match. I was quite tired but now I am everywhere and I was ready to go tomorrow.”
As for whether he returns to his best, he added: “I did everything I could to do anything about what we worried normally. But coming out of this game, feel good in all my spells, rhythm-wise and capable of backing up spells throughout the day.
“But I managed to keep my pace, which was one of the things I wanted to concentrate on.”
