India on Saturday (April 25, 2026) advised its citizens in Mali to remain on high alert, exercise utmost caution and stay indoors due to recent security developments in the West African country.
In an advisory, the Indian Embassy in Bamako said: “In view of the recent security developments and reported attacks in Kati and other parts of Mali, the Indian Embassy in Bamako appeals to all Indian nationals living in Mali to be very vigilant, exercise utmost caution, stay indoors and strictly follow the instructions issued by the Malian authorities from time to time.”
