India A vs Sri Lanka Unofficial Test Day 3 Live Score: Captain Dhruv Jurel led from the front with an unbeaten 141 as India A posted their first innings commanding 452/6 on Day 2 of the opening unofficial Test against Sri Lanka A on Friday.

The visitors then struck twice with the new ball before Sri Lanka A recovered to finish the day on 113/2, still 339 runs behind.

Continuing the day on 68 not out, Jurel took full advantage of the batting-friendly conditions and turned his half-century into a superb hundred overnight.

The wicketkeeper-batsman remained unbeaten on 141 off 215 balls, an innings that included 13 fours and a six. He mixed caution with attacking strokes to keep India A firmly in check.

Shaik Rasheed, who went on to make 53, added just 10 more runs before falling to 63. The pair shared a valuable partnership that laid the foundation for India’s big number.

After Rasheed’s dismissal, Harsh Dubey joined his captain and played an important supporting role.

The all-rounder scored 30 off 51 balls, hitting two fours and a six as he added 86 runs for the sixth wicket with Jurel before being dismissed by Chamika Gunasekara.

Gunasekara was the pick of the Sri Lankan bowlers and claimed two more wickets the next day after removing Rasheed and Dubey.

India A got off to a great start with the ball as Anshul Kamboj and Yash Thakur reduced Sri Lanka A to 38/2.

Kamboj dismissed wicketkeeper-batsman Niroshan Dickwella for 10 while Thakur bowled Pawantha Weerasinghe for 11 to put the visitors under pressure.

Sri Lanka A recovered through Nuwanidu Fernando and Ashen Bandara who denied India A any further breakthroughs.

Fernando remained unbeaten on 65 off 103 balls, hitting seven boundaries, while Bandara was not out on 18 at the stumps.

The pair added 75 unbeaten runs for the third wicket to take Sri Lanka A to 113/2 at the end of play.

India A entered Day 2 after finishing the opening day on 333/4, with Sai Sudharsan scoring 132. Jurel’s century helped the visitors extend their dominance before they declared on 452/6.

With a lead of 339 runs and Sri Lanka A still eight wickets down in their first innings, India A remain firmly in control heading into Day 3.
