The Mysuru Division celebrated the Southwest Railway on Friday 79. Independence Day, during which important milestones of the division were highlighted.
Mount Mittal, a divisional railway manager (DRM), raised the national flag on the Mysuru railway playground and outlined the remarkable milestones of the division in the last six to seven months.
He introduced the successful completion of the channel work between Arsikere and Honnavalli with a 10-day suspension line (TSL)-first for the division; Installation of 160 kW of solar panels in Davangere, Palenahalli and Chikjajur, resulting in a savings of 29 lakh; And the electrification works in the Saklessshpur – Donigal and Shiribagil sections – Subrahmanya.
Mr. Mittal said that the Chikjajur – Raidurg section is set to become the first route of axle load in the division and on the safety and safety queue that RPF (RPF) rescued 69 children who need care and protection.
Referring to personal services and surgical improvements, Mr. Mittal said that the introduction of e-auction for parking, eating and paying toilet contracts and the shipping system helped make operations more efficient and improved user comfort.
As part of the passenger equipment, the division launched “Margadarshak”-Mobile applications for intelligent instructions based on QR at the Mysurur railway station entered 11 new automatic tickets (ATVM), Mittal said.
Mr. Mittal also spoke of environmental initiatives of railways and pointed out that the DRM office was now a zone without plastics. He praised the railway employees for their teamwork, repeated the motto “first safety” and division commitment to sustainability, efficiency and friendly services to friends.
