State capital witnessed the witty celebrations for the 79th day of independence, because various government institutions meant this opportunity on Friday with patriotic enthusiasts and ceremonial events.
Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Alelekar raised the national flag in Kerala Raj Bhavan. Students of Cotton Hill LP School provided patriotic songs on this occasion.
The governor later hosted the usual “home” program in Raj Bhavan.
The legislative assembly also celebrated this opportunity in a great way. Speaker Shamseer picked up the national flag and received an honorary guard from Watch and Ward Wing. Students of the Holy Angels School introduced the band performance.
Later, national leaders with flower offers and Garlanding sculptures Mahatmy Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nezru, Br Ambedkar and Kr Narayanan in the assembly were honored.
The next CEO of the police S. Sreejith led to compliance with the state police headings by paying tribute to Dheer Smithi Bhoomi by laying a wreath, followed by the control of the honorary guard. Then he raised the national flag and addressed the assembly.
The Thiruvananthapuram division celebrated the Independence Day in the division railway office in Thycaud. Divisional Railway Manager Divyakant Chandrakar lifted the national flag and received a greeting at the show of the ceremonial protective forces of railways. The show included female platoon and volunteers from the St. John ambulance. The event was also attended by the division security commissioner Muhammed Haniff.
Another district municipality Vineeth TK raised the national flag on the Thiruvananthapuram collector. In his report, Independence Day emphasized drug addiction as one of the main challenges faced by the younger generation. He called on his youth to keep on from abuse of addictive substances to build India without drugs.
Students from the GHSS Pero -Prooracada government and student cadets presented a greeting on this occasion.
India’s State Bank observed independence day at its local headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram. The head of the CEO of SBI Thiruvananthapuram Circle Bhuvaneshware A. picked up the national flag. Financial assistance has been distributed within its activities in the CSR.
