The Australian injury crisis deepened from the ODI team against India. Hosts who no longer have the services of Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell and Cameron Green are ready to miss Josh Inglis and Adam Zamb in the first ODI 3-match series.
Inglis, which was recently expelled from the New Zealand T20is due to the calf strain, did not get in time and will probably miss the first two matches of the series. On the other hand, ZMPA will miss the first ODI for family reasons.
Inglis injury means that Australia does not have the services of its two breeders of the first selection in this series. The first breeder with the selection of Australia Alex Carey is currently playing Sheffield Shield in front of Ashes and will be delayed in this series. In the absence of Carey and Inglis, the aggressive breeder Josh Philippe joins the team.
Philippe has also replaced Glenn Maxwell in the recently closed T20i series against New Zealand. The dough of the highest order, however, had no chance to play in any of the games.
But with Carey and Inglis of the team, Philippe is ready to play his first ODI game since 2021. So far he has 3 ODI under the belt from which he scored 65 runs.
Australian personnel crisis
Australia goes through a little crisis of injury. They lack several players in the ODI and T20i series either because of injuries or ash preparation.
Josh Inglis
Josh Inglis was expelled due to the right warm trunk in the Australian preparation for the New Zealand T20is. Inglis experienced discomfort after running in Perth and the scan confirmed the injury. He lacks all three matches in New Zealand and is expected to miss two more against India.
Cameron Green
The best Australian versatile Cameron Green focuses on his preparation for ashes and returned to playing the Sheffield Shield cricket. There will also be the Australian T20i series against India to prefer the ash preparation.
Pat cummins
Australia Odi and test captain Pat Cummins said it is unlikely to return to the second test match of the Ashes series. He was not named for the White-Ball series against India.
