IND vs NZ: New Zealand name squad for India ODIs; Rachin Ravindra included in the first three matches

The ODI matches will follow the five-match T20I series, which is scheduled from October 22 to November 1.The Blackcaps will be looking to continue their strong run against India after winning the ODI series 2-1 in January. The win was historic as it marked New Zealand’s first ODI series win against India on Indian soil.

Key players return to the ODI squad

Allen and Ferguson return to ODI cricket after last playing in the format in 2023. Ferguson’s last ODI appearance was in the semi-final of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup against India in Mumbai. Seifert is also back after an absence of about 18 months, last playing an ODI during New Zealand’s home series against Pakistan.Ravindra, who was missing from the T20I squad due to a shoulder injury, will be available for the first three ODIs.

Changes in the lineup for the last two matches

New Zealand will make changes to the squad for the final two ODIs, with seven more players joining the squad.
