The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday sough of the intervention of Governor Thawarchand Gehlot on the Illegal Confinement of Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy PRIYANK KHARGE BE REMOVED FROM The Cabinet, While Accusing Him of Being Responsible for the Incident.
In the Governor’s petition, the BJP leaders’ delegation, which includes the opposition leader in both houses of the State Legislative Corps, R. Ashok and Mr. Narayanaswamy, among other things, claimed that Mr. Nayanaswamy was attacked in Chittapur and that Mr. Khage misused his position as a personal store against Narayanaswam.
They also claimed that Mr. Kharge’s supporters and Congress members were responsible for the incident of illegal detention and assault on Mr. Nayanaswamy.
The delegation called on the Governor to order the government to immediately undertake the police against the police for their alleged inability to prevent mobbing and illegal detention of Mr. Narayanaswamy, who belongs to the planned caste.
The BJP delegation, which described the incident as a sign of decomposition of law and order in the state, also called on the Governor to apply for an incident from the main Minister Siddaramaiah, the Minister of the Interior, the Chief Secretary and DG & IG. They should be said to report within 24 hours, demanding BJP leaders.
They expressed concern that if it were the situation of the opposition leader in the Council, what would be the condition of an ordinary person in the state.
They also claimed that the workers and followers of the Congress of Mr. Kharge attacked BJP staff and demanded strict steps against those responsible for the attack.
