FMain Minister Ormer Gujarat Vijay Rupani (83) was killed on Air India, London, which crashed near Ahmedabad Airport soon after take -off of June 12, 2025.
He was between 242 people aboard the unfortunate flight Air India i71 in London, which crashed minutes after taking off from Ahmedabad. It is the second gujarat cm that died in an air crash.

Rupani was taken over as the main minister in August 2016 after the sudden resignation of the then CM Ananiben Patel. In 2021 he resigned and prepared a way to take Bhupendra patel as 17.
