The main providers of telecommunications, including Reliance Jio and VI, are reportedly experiencing disturbances of services after Airtel failure. Users reported call problems and internet services. According to Downdetctor, more than 200 users reported Jio outages and more than 50 users have indicated problems with VI around 17:00 on Monday.
According to Downdettor, nearly 52 % of JIO users reported problems with mobile internet, 30 % with Jiofiber and 17 % experienced no signal. The map of a live outage on the tracking website emphasized the outage of the affected areas, including Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Patna, Kolkata, Bombai and other cities.
For VI 44 % of users reported problems with mobile Internet on DownDetector, 37 % for mobile calls and 19 % experienced no signal.
No official answer from Jio and VI so far
So far, neither Jio nor VI have issued an official statement explaining the cause of the outage.
The outages caused a rush of reaction to social media. Many users have shared complaints about released calls, slow internet and interrupted services with hashtags such as #joodown trends in multiple cities.

Airtel outage in India affects thousands
Airtel also faces disruption in India today, with several users reporting problems, especially with the application. The Downdetctor failure platform has seen an increase in complaints, with more than 3,500 reports of disturbing services around 16:30.
According to dowdetector, approximately 68 % of Airtel users showed mobile phone problems, 16 % struggled with mobile internet, and 15 % complained that it had no signal.
