Representatives of the self -proclaimed Godman Nithyanand, a refugee accused of sexual abuse, denied rumors about his death 1 April and confirmed that he was “alive, safe and active”.
The rumors of Nithyanand’s death appeared after his nephew Sundereshwar allegedly claimed that the refugee had died.

“Kailas clearly condemns this harmful campaign for blur for accusing and slander SPH …” read the statement.

Who is Nithyananda?
Self-reported Godman Nithyanand founded his own country called the United States Kailas (USK). The defendant of rape and kidnapping fled from India in 2019, and a year later he reappeared and claimed to establish his nation. Nithyananda bought an island off the coast of Ecuador and named it Kailas.
In 2020, Nithyananda of the deposit was canceled by the Karnataka High Court after allowing the petition filed with Kuruppan Lenin, whose complaint was registered against Nithyanand for various crimes, including rape. Other accusations against him are torture and abuse of children on his ashram in Gujarat.

What is kailas?
Kailasa is a self-eclated country, located on an island on the Ecuador coast, named after a sacred Hindu place.
