
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to start the Vande Bharat train and connects Srinagar with the National Captial on Saturday from Cathya in Jammu.
It will be the first visit to Prime Minister Modi in Jammu and Kashmir after the “Sindoor”, Indian accurate strikes about terrorist camps in Pakistan launched in response to the terrorist attack of Pahalgam, which killed 26 people, mostly tourists.

“The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will visit Jammu in the first week of June and introduced the first Vande Bharat train to Kashmir,” said the head of the daily rise of Kashmir, head of BJP Ravinder Rainer Raine. Raina, former President of J&K BJP, is also a national executive member of BJP.

Vande Bharat Express Special Train
Katra at Srinagarvande Bharat Express will have features such as heating systems, anti-automatic layers and automatic doors. The train is designed to work smoothly in cold weather-up to 20 degrees Celsius.

The Chenab bridge is 467 meters high, so it is 35 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The Bridge, designed to endure the earthquake up to size 8, represented significant engineering challenges due to its placement in a highly seismic zone.

Usbrl was approved in 1994–95 and announced a national project in 2002, was completed in phases. Key parts such as Qazigund – Baramulla (2009), Banihal – Qazigund (2013), Udhampur – Katra (2014) and Banihal – Sangaldan (2020) have already been commissioned. Last year, the MEM trains were successfully run in the Electrified Reasi – Sangaldan section.
