Patil Yatnal. However, Khader, a UT line -up, rejected the resignation letter because he was not submitted in the correct format.
Patil submitted a resignation letter to Mr. Khader with the rider. In his letter, Mr. Patil, who represents the Basavany Bagevadi constituency in the Vijayapura district, asked Mr. Khader to accept his resignation only if Mr. Yatnal resigned too much to the assembly and his resignation was accepted. Mr. Yatnal represents the constituency of the cities vijayapura.
Background
Mr. Patil’s resignation follows the recent protest that takes place in Vijayapura against Mr. Yatnal for his alleged derogatory notes against Muslims.
Mr. Patil and another Congress of the Mil, Vijayanand Kashappanavar, who participated in the protest, strongly set out on Mr. Yatnal and urged him to resign and attack the vines. In response to Mr. Yatnal, Mr. Yatnal called on Mr. Patil and Mr. Kashappanavar to resign at the assembly and face their respective chairs in the bypolly. Mr. Kashappanavar represents Hugond Consitteenty.
“If they do not resign next Friday 9th May, I doubt their parenting,” he said in Vijayapra 30 April. “Vijayapura does not have to come to the city to fight me. Let us all compete as independent. I will beat them on their home lawn,” Basava Jayanti told reporters. Mr. Yatnal claimed that, unlike him, Mr. Patil and Mr. Kashappanavar are not mass leaders. He claimed that he won the elections on the basis of his charisma and not the party’s association.
Mr. Patil, who accepted this challenge, met Mr. Khader on Friday and presented his resignation.
Mr. Patil when he talked to reporters in Bengalur, said, “Mr. Yatnal said he resigns like MLA and competes against me in the Basavan Bagevadi election district. I resigned.
However, Mr. Patil said he did not set any term for Mr. Yatnal to resign. His resignation has nothing to do with Congress and the main Minister Siddaramaiaha, explained. He offered his resignation himself and repeated the challenge of Mr. Yatnal.
Mr. Kashappanavar has to respond to this challenge.
“Just a drama”
In response to the resignation, Mr. Yatnal called it only “drama”. He said, “The resignation of the minister is nothing but a big drama. I will not resign until his resignation is accepted. Conditional resignation will never be accepted. Anyone knows it with a little common sense.”
