The Ministry of the Labor Union on Wednesday (August 20, 2025) stated that the organizations of the Provisional Funds (EPFO) employees (EPFO) recorded a net add member of 21.89 MAKH this June-best since wage data began in April 2018.
The total number of subscribers who joined it, including new members, is a net addition to the payroll.
In June, the EPFO applied for about 10.62 new Subscribers, which is an increase of 12.68% compared to May and growth of 3.61% compared to June 2024.
The ministry said that the dominance of subscribers from the age group 18-25 is a noticeable aspect of data. “EPFO added 6.39 new subscribers in the age group of 18-25, which represents a significant 60.22% of the total number of new subscribers added in June 2025. New subscribers in the age group of 18-25 added in the month, showing an increase of 14.08% compared to the previous month 2025.
The net wage addition for the age group 18-25 years in June is approximately 9.72 lakh. Approximately 16.93 Lakh members who have already performed have re -connected to the EPFO in June 2025. “This figure depicts 5.09% compared to May 2025.
Around 3.02 Lakh new women’s subscribers joined the EPFO in June. The net addition during the month was 4.72 lakh. “The growth of female members’ supplements testify to a wider shift towards a more inclusive and diverse workforce,” she said.
Of all countries, Maharashtra with 20.03% of pure wage accessories led. Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Telangana added more than 5% of the total net wages in a month. Customers are mostly from the service sector, such as school, professional services, construction and construction industry, university, university, electrical, mechanical or general engineering products, business companies and financial companies, the government said.
