MLA Prabhu Chavan, who expressed displeasure over poor results in SSLC tests in the last academic year, told teachers to try to improve performance and provide a positive result or submit their resignation.
The Audit Meeting and Workshop Chairman, organized by the Ministry of Public Instructions for Teachers from Government Schools, supported and used secondary schools in Aurad (B) Taluk in Bidar District in Karnataka 23 June, Mr. Chavan said he had come to good results this academic year. “Blocking officers must take responsibility and regularly attend schools to review teachers’ performance. If teachers and officials work with interest, we can expect a good result,” he said.
Although teachers repeatedly promise good results every academic year, they could not maintain their promise. In the past, Taluk recorded a percentage of 82, which was reduced to 55%, he said.
Although government schools have qualified teachers why they are lagging behind private schools, he asked. The legislature ordered the teachers to be accurate at school and to complete the curriculum in time, except that special classes for weak students are taking place. He warned officials not to mention the lack of teachers as an excuse for bad results in SSLC.
