President PMK Anbumani Ramadoss said on Monday that the state government must carry out an old pension system after the Gagandeep Singh Bedi Committee complements its consulting meetings. Discussions will start on 18th August and completed September 11.
In his statement Anbumani said that the committee created to recommend the provision of an old pension system, slept for 6 months without doing anything essential.
“It is gratifying that the Committee, which was created 4 February and was sleeping for more than six months, has now awakened and is about to start working. Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) has been going for many years that the Tamil government should perform an old pension system for government employees and teachers,” he said.
Dr. Anbumani said, “I pointed out and issued a statement on June 22 and 6 August. Furthermore, during my ongoing Padayatra, it focused on the regeneration of people’s rights.
