The Andhra Pradesh Farmers Coordination Committee of the Association Vadde Sobhanadreesware Rao demanded that the Union government to perform C2 + 50% formula (remuneration at least 50% above the comprehensive cultivation costs) at a minimum support price (MSP) (MS).

Mr. Rao criticized the government of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Andhra Pradesh for intensive focus on attraction of industries, and at the same time showed no concerns for farmers who make up 62% of the state population.
