President Droucadi Murmu on Monday (September 29, 2025) said it is essential that the youth be accepted and adapted to advanced technological skills, as India is progressing to a way of technology -based growth.
She said that the addressing of the probation staff of the Indian Development Service (ISDS), who called on it for Rashtrapati Bhavan, said that skill and knowledge are the real economic growth and social progress engines for any nation.
“Countries that develop highly qualified workforce are better equipped to respond to global challenges and take advantage of emerging opportunities in different areas of development.
“As India progresses on a journey of technology growth, it is essential that our youth accept and adapt to advanced technological skills,” Mrs. Murmu said.

The President said probacists will play an important role in shaping a robust workforce prepared for the future. “Your role in making India will be significant in the world’s main capital,” she said.
In addition to ISDS, the chairman also called on the probationers of the Indian Statistical Services and the Central Engineering Services.
Mrs. Murm, which concerned probation staff of the Indian Statistical Service, said that the importance of measurable and quantifiable indicators in effective administration cannot be emphasized much.
“The formulation and implementation of sound policy depends on accurate statistical analysis. In today’s world -based world, the meaning of statistics has grown extremely,” she said.
The President said India had entered the new era of socio -economic and digital transformations.
“The growing acceptance of developing technologies has significantly increased the transparency and efficiency of administration.
These technological initiatives create a continuous flow of data that allows the government to take more informed and efficient decisions, ”said Mrs. Murmu.
In interacting with probation central engineering services, she said that engineers play an auxiliary role in the development of technological progress and economic growth of the nation and must be prepared to meet the challenges of growing knowledge base and rapidly developing technology.
“With the strong focus of the government on the development of extensive infrastructure, the engineering sector is intended for significant growth,” the president said, insisting that “it is also essential to ensure that the development is sustainable”.
