
The Police of International Airport in Bengalur launched a probe against the members of Hunasamaranhalli Gram Panchayat after on Thursday immigrant officials charged 38 -year home aid from Nepal with a false Indian voter identification card.
The counterfeit came to light when officials caught a rechase that landed at the International Airport in Kemegowda in the town of Nepal and submitted Indian identification of the voter for immigration check -in.
She worked as home aid in Bengalur and returned from her birthplace in Nepal.
In suspected, officials asked her for other documents after which she showed her ID Nepalese citizenship. After further questioning Rekha, she revealed that she received an Indian voter identification card from Hunasamaranhalli Gram Panchayat.
Later it was handed over to the Police of International Airport for further investigation. Based on the complaint of Shalender Kumar Meeny, an immigration official, the police registered the case against Rekha, which charged it according to Section 336 (2) (Counterfeiting Act) and Section 420 (2 2023, 2023.
