
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan urged students to commit to the study of Mahatmy Gandhi and Imbibe Gandhian values.
On Tuesday, all schoolchildren from class VIII up to two in connection with Gandhi Jayanti reminded them of the main minister that Gandhi’s life was a plan for the realization of the hope that the families and society had.
He pointed out that 55,000 classrooms have been produced in state schools over the last nine years and the new school buildings were built at the price of 5,000 GBP Crore. Free textbooks and uniforms were available for students on time. The curriculum was also revised according to changing times.
However, only if students fully and efficiently used these devices, can they be called fertile, said Mr. Vijayan and urged students to sign up for them.
He also urged students to be aware of diseases such as drugs and other substances in society, remained to be alert against them and made sure that even those around them did not fall prey abuse of addictive substances. He called on them to become part of government campaigns against abuse of addictive substances.
He also reminded them to create a strong habit of reading.
