
IT engineer based in Bengalur shared a post on social media that he was afraid of losing his distant work because of frequent cuts in Bengalur. A user who shares concerns through the Reddit post said he could not explain the occurrence to a foreign boss who works from the “so -called technological capital” in India.
The user claimed to be a resident of the Indianagar locality in Bengalur, which is also known as one of the main areas of the city. They also claimed that the region is experiencing “frequent and long energy cuts” nearly two to three times a week, which overlaps with their office meetings.
“I live in Indianagar, Bengaluru – allegedly in the main area – we have experienced frequent, long energy slices, 2-3 times a week. These outages often overlap with my meetings, some last for hours,” Reddit said in the post.

The Reddit user reportedly works for a small IT company and is currently working from a distant location in Bengalur. According to this post, the user is reported directly to the CEO (CEO) and the Chief Technology Director (CTO), which is based in Sweden.
“I am working remotely for a small IT company, I report directly to the CEO and CTO in Sweden. They came out and were glad that they offered a remote role, with meetings usually between 12:30 and 18:30,” the user said in their Reddit post.
