“As reported, I recently returned to South Africa from participating in IPL for personal reasons. It was because of my return of unfavorable analytical findings for the use of a recreational drug,” Rabada said in a statement.
“I am very sorry for all those I have disappointed. I will never have the privilege to play cricket for granted. This privilege is much greater than me. It goes beyond my personal ambitions.”
“I serve the provisional suspension and look forward to returning to the game I like to play.”
