
The Indian Technology Institute of Madras (Iit-Madras) joined with Tamil Nadu instructions to develop a state dashboard for start-ups and innovations.
The Innovation-TN platform provides a comprehensive overview of the beginning ecosystem of Tamil Nadu and presents innovative fitness to various parties, such as investors, industries, financial institutions and starting founders. Tamil Nadu’s guidelines are the government of the node agency Tamil Nadu to promote investment.
Since August 2025, nearly 19,000 start -up businesses have been in Tamil. Together, these start -ups created more than 2.2 Lakh jobs and attracted investments and exceeded £ 1,20,000. There are 45 start -ups, each of which has attracted an investment of 200 crore or more. The state also has 228 active incubators and novice organizations allowing start-ups, the largest number for any country in the country.

Kamakoti, Director, Iit-Madras, said: “The control panel will help the creators of the policy creators to focus on the sectoral strengths of different districts and develop suitable policies and programs. The instrument panel also shows a group of starting enterprises for national and global investors.
Innovation-TN has been conceptualized by the Center for Research on Beginning Published and Risk Financing (Crest), the Institute for the Eminence Research Center in Iit-Madras along with IIT Madras-Incuboted Start-up Ynos Venture Engine.
Among the leadership of Tamil Nadu, Iit-Madras and Ynos for the development of the dashboard, a memorandum of understanding was signed. Iit-Madras would provide academic supervision and research inputs to ensure robustness, reliability and relevance of the innovative control panel. Tamil Nadu’s instructions would support long -term strategic involvement between academic institutions and industry and provide institutional support, visibility and harmonization with innovation priorities of the state.
